APE is a leading supplier of high performance and racing valves. APE stainless steel valves are precision manufactured from aircraft quality Inconel based stainless steel. This special material offers excellent resistance to heat and distortion. APE stainless steel valves are designed to be used in the most extreme racing applications including the use of exotic fuels, or will give many miles of trouble free use. They present an outstanding value. In most cases you can upgrade to APE stainless steel valves for less than the cost of replacement stock valves. All oversize stainless steel valves feature hard chrome stems for extra long stem to guide life.

BRONZE VALVE GUIDES

APE valve guides are designed to take the abuse of today's modern high horsepower engines. They are made from special bronze alloy to resist wear and heat. No other valve guide that you can buy will out-perform APE guides. Fact is we supply our guides to nearly all of the top cylinder head shops. Major police departments use them in their patrol bikes which see severe use. APE guides are precision machined with the bores finished to size.
They are designed to fit lower in the head to clear high lift cams, and use APE seals or factory OEM seals. Sold in sets of 16.

TITANIUM VALVE SPRING RETAINERS

APE valve spring retainers are machined from aircraft quality titanium bar stock in the APE plant on the latest state of the art computerized CNC machinery. CNC machining allows us to offer such advantages as bored taper keeper holes for exact keeper fit. Special gauging fixtures allow dimensions to be held close to provide exact installed heights when assembling the cylinder head. APE titanium retainers are shorter than stock to provide additional retainer to valve guide clearance for high lift cams. APE is the only manufacturer of motorcycle retainers that also builds cylinder heads. We know how they have to fit, how they have to clear the bucket, etc. No other manufacturer can offer this expertise. You might think this extra precision is expensive. The fact that we are the manufacturer allows us to provide these super precision retainers at a price everyone can afford. NO MATTER WHO BUILDS YOUR CYLINDER HEAD, INSIST THAT THEY USE APE TITANIUM RETAINERS.

World famous APE valve springs are made from premium chrome silicone wire for consistant pressure and excellent fatigue life. For use with any high lift cam and / or agressive camshaft profile.

Spring specs:
Seat pressure is 60 to 64 lbs.
.510" (12.95mm) travel to solid.
Recommended lift limit, .470" (11.94mm)
Specs taken using APE Ti retainer.
